Marinade for Chicken on the Grill from Savannah Recipe
This marinade is enough for 12 pieces of chicken. Recipe is taken from "Savannah Style" a cookbook published by the Jr. League there in 1980.
You marinate the chicken pieces, then cook them in a pan on the grill, turning frequently, then remove from pan and place chicken pieces directly on grill for about 10 minutes. Original recipe used in addition 2 1/2 tsp salt, but I think this would be salty enough from the soy sauce, Cooking time is marinating time.
