Welcome to a little cruise recap! How about we sit down for some dinner?
Served promptly at 8:30pm. Or whenever you happen to show up after a day of fun in the sun
Formal night dinner.
See how we’re all dressed up and fancy-like??
How about we start with a crab bisque…
And maybe some escargot…
Escargot say whaaa?!?!
We didn’t order these, but our waiter brought them out for us to give a try.
Truth be told, they were the hit of the night!
And we may or may not have demolished two dishes of these bad boys.
Snail may sound “scary” but trust me, it’s DELICIOUS if prepared right. Like a clam but not chewy in the least. And covered in herby delicious butter. Bring it.
And finally some shrimp cocktail…
For the main course perhaps the Grilled Seafood Brochette catches your eye.
A monkfish, scallop and shrimp kabob. Served with potato cauliflower hash and a black olive and red bell pepper pesto beurre blanc.
I had never had monkfish before. Fanatic Mom said she’s heard it called the “poor man’s lobster”… and guess what, it was delicious! Total fan.
A final finish to the meal, a cherry dessert of sorts…
Because clearly we haven’t had enough?!
All topped off with an after dinner surprise towel animal in our stateroom cabin, complete with Merlin the stuffed monkey.
We just won’t go into that….
Formal dinner night on the cruise, may not be the way we roll here in the Fanatic house on the daily, but most certainly delicious and fun!!
And if you’re still with me, how about a little post-dinner video action…?
Oh enjoy… haha.
Escargot, Merlin & G-Funk. Just another formal night dinner event…
Yep. That happened.
