Wilmington & Wrightsville Beach

I hope your holiday weekend was full of sunshine & good times :)

And maybe some new adventures…??

Like this one. Leaving the usual Outer Banks behind and heading further south to Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina!!

1

Where waters were as blue as blue could be, far as the eye could see.

I think I may have fallen in love with this beach. Forever :)

2

So much good food. So many cute restaurant spots.

7

Dock Street Oyster Bar. Oysters, snow crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, corn & potatoes.  And lotsa Old Bay. Just as we like it in the South ;)

6

The Fortunate Glass Wine Bar. Bubbly plus Bruschetta with Brie, Grapes & Caramelized Onion.

5

Circa 1922. Fresh cured fish with Piquillo Emulsion & Yuzu.

And probably the best sangria I’ve ever had. This pitcher didn’t stand a chance :P

And so much beautiful sunshine to soak in before the light of summer comes to an end. This beach was just beautiful!

You always know where to find me…

Oh yea. And being super serious. With friends.

Typical, no? ;) 3

We had such.a.blast. at this place. Perfect way to top off a more than marvelous summer if you ask me!

And if you’re ever in the mood for some great food and laid back time in the sun too (I mean, how can you go wrong there?) I’d definitely recommend visiting this beach region of North Carolina.

I know I’ll definitely be going back! :)

Bye bye for now Wrightsville, until we meet again!!
