THESE meatballs.

Stuffed with cherry-size balls of fresh mozzarella.

Also known as ciliegine.

Learn something new everyday, right?

 (Me too 😉 )

So good. And guess what.

Just because this dish looks & sounds fancy…

Doesn’t mean it’s difficult or takes forever. Trust me!

Go ahead and use your favorite jar of sauce kids. I do it too 😉

This 365 (Whole Foods) Roasted Vegetable is one of my faves.

Other than that you’ll just need a few things.

Most of which you might already have!

Then just mix, roll, stuff and bake. Simple as that 🙂

See? 😀

After that, just drop the meatballs into some sauce.

Jazzed up with a bit of onion & garlic.

And simmer away until cooked through and ready to serve.

Told you this was easy!! 😀

Dressed to impress. No?

Serve these stuffed meatballs over some whole wheat pasta. Or even over some sautéed zucchini. Tried & loved ’em both ways. And I think you will too 🙂

Enjoy!

  1. Simple dishes are often the best (IMO). I have meatballs on the menu for Friday, I may have to stuff them with cheese. I wonder if Kay will like that?!

  2. These look AMAZING! I just pinned them to my “to make” board!

  3. Wait….so is cileigngignge or whatever it is called the same thing as Moz? Because I could not figure that out when I bought it at Fresh Market… is that just Italian for “mini mozzarella?”
