Friday Superlatives Picture Book

Best lunch of the week, a tie:

Urban Farmhouse.

Freshly made hummus, 9 grain bread, balsamic drizzle.

10 Veg Soup.

Olio.

The Spanish Garden.

Tallegio cheese and ciabatta, you had me at hello.

Best Valentine’s Day humor received:

Honeybadger. If you haven’t seen it, watch it. And then explain to me how it’s not quite possibly one of the funniest videos ever…

And how you haven’t managed to come across it yet.  Do you live under a rock? Speaking of rocks…

And yes, I received this gem via text from a good friend. Ha!

Best “woah really?” sighting:

Overturned truck full o’ rocks. Or should I say boulders.

Blocking the interstate.

Clearly this truck driver was about as smart as those rocks, as this was a drunk driving incident that occurred before noon. Not kidding.

Best gift received:

Barrel-Aged Vinegar from Feast! in Charlottesville.

Sweet Moscato and Golden Balsamic.

Love love love.  Both the vinegars and Fanatic Mom, gift giver extraordinaire, clearly :)

Best “that doesn’t belong here” sighting:

Firetruck inside a bar.  Intermittent sirens and all.

Say whaaaaa….?  Hey, at least they had $1.50 pint specials.

And finally…

A few thoughts about how I feel about the impending snow coming our way:

That would be ”Steph” for “no thanks”.

That is all.

Gotta get out and enjoy what remains of this kind of weather before a rainy/snowy/sleety Sunday hits  home.

Thanks goodness for pretty sunny warm winter Fridays and Saturdays!! :)

HAPPY FRIDAY YA’LL!

What’s a “best” from your past week?! Also, are you a fan of snow?

  1. Ewwww I don’t want any snow! Make it go away!

I love Urban Farmhouse! That just reminded me that I need to go there again!

  2. I think its odd that there are people who enjoy snow ;) Both the sandwich and soup look incrediballs

  3. Haha! I like your facial expressions for how you feel about snow. ;)

  4. I am having mixed feelings about the snowy forecast, can’t make up my mind… Yay or nay?! We’ve had beautiful springlike weather all winter so a little snow would be nice [as long as it quickly melts]!
